O REFUGIADO / THE REFUGEE

Entre os vários projectos que temos em mãos, está O REFUGIADO, uma curta-metragem de 12’, produzida pela TOONELADA, e realizada por Rui Cardoso. Esta curta é apoiada pelo ICA e pela RTP, e deverá estar concluída no final deste ano. O Rui é um autor, realizador e animador consagrado, criador do PATINHO que resolveu montar uma produtora própria. E como conhecia já grande parte dos elementos da WHAT’S UP?, resolveu delegar-nos a responsabilidade de animar a maior parte desta curta. E acreditamos que o resultado vai ser bom…





Among other projects we are involved in, there is O REFUGIADO (THE REFUGEE), an animation short produced by TOONELADA and directed by Rui Cardoso. This short is supported by ICA (Portuguese Film Institute) and RTP (Public Television) and will be wrapped by the end of this year. Rui is an accomplished author, director and animator, responsible for several children TV shows who decided to build his own production studio. And since he knew most of WHAT’S UP? team members from previous collaborations, he laid upon our shoulders the task of animating pretty much the entire short. And we believe the result will be outstanding…
